Why We Monitor & Pull Weeds
It's crucial to stop the spread!
- Some weeds spread like wildfire & win the battle for soil, nutrients, light & space
- Noxious weeds spread readily and compete with our native plants
- Washington Counties, Farmers, and Ranchers spend millions to control them
- Farms & Ranches can lose millions in potential production
- Some are poisonous to animals including farm animals
- They can spread to uninhabited islands
